A poster promoting "The Big <a href=http://brunohjds.centerblog.net/2-kim-kardashian-barely-avoids-wardrobe-malfunction-in-cleavag Sleep" rests against a wall as John Caruso, owner of Hollywood Posters works at his shop in Denver on Thursday.' /> in Denver. (Special to The Denver Post) Three bookstores and a record store formerly dotted a single block of East Colfax between Grant and Logan streets, just east of the Capitol building, Caruso said. "The record store guy used to play 'Smoke on the Water' all day on his bass guitar and it would drive me crazy, but it was a great block. It was very different," he said. That's clear from looking at the block, which has seen other longtime businesses, including Wolfe's Barbeque, Jerry's Record Exchange and Taki's Japanese restaurant, close in the past five years. "We've got http://bufordmixm.hazblog.com/Blog-b1/Ray-Js-Girlfriend-Princess-Love-Arrested-For-Beating-Him-Up-Breaking-His-Ribs-b1-p178.htm more browsers than buyers these days," said Caruso, 70, a former co-owner of the popular Jerry's Used Books at Colfax and Lincoln. He said he pays about $1,500 per month right now and would have to pay about double that to keep the space.
